Going beyond what you can do...

I just got this email from one the yahoo groups I subscribed asking for a tutor..

I'm helping an acquaintance of mine to search for a suitable tutor for her daughter. This girl is a Secondary 3 student from a girl's school. She was not qualified to sit for Additional Maths in school, but instead she was advised to take up the subject in private tuition, but will be given the chance to sit for assessments/ exam. If she passes the Final Year Exam with a satisfactory grade, she will be allowed to sit for normal A Maths classes in school the following year. The following are some details. Those who are interested, please reply back to me.

I think the parents these days are totally crazy about excelling? Do you think so?

There must be a reason that the student could not take the A Maths Paper. Why push her to the extent of getting that paper. Why not just focus on E-Maths and score better there. I have a good damn feeling that this student even with the best of tutors would not excel!! Instead her other subjects will be affected...

At the end of the day, you might as well focus on what you already have rather than pursuing something aimless which leads you nowhere...

This goes with businesses too....Dump those business ideas that are not generating income and focus on those that are making money and build on it....
